在某些情况下，AI做的中翻英，似乎可以接受。而实际上，与英翻中一样，AI完成的翻译需要修正。目前，AI翻译只是提高翻译效率的工具。下文举例说明。

1. 在汉语中较少用连词，英语中有大量的连词，并且从语法上讲，连词是必不可少的。

虚心使人进步，骄傲使人落后。

点评：AI翻译中，分句之间缺少了连词，这是语法错误。此外，pride这个词使用不当。

2. 注释性词语

点评：AI翻译，只是按字面翻译。对于缺少文化背景的人来说，不知道诸葛亮是谁。所以，注释说明是必要的。这里的注释性说明是“the master mind”。

3. 英语表达比较注重逻辑关系。

经风雨，见世面

Through the wind and rain, see the world (AI)

点评：AI翻译中存在语法错误，缺少连词；同时，只是按字面翻译，没有理解这个句子的含义，没有把逻辑关系理出来。

4. 习语直译法：保留原习语的比喻形象、民族色彩和语言风格

跑得了和尚跑不了庙

A monk can run but not a temple (AI)

The monks who can run can't run the temple (AI)

The monk may run away, but the temple can’t run with him

点评：AI翻译中，没能准确翻译“跑”字。

5. 习语直译法加注

司马昭之心，路人皆知。

点评：AI只是按字面翻译，没有理解这个句子的含义。

6. 为了确切表达原文含义，使用正反、反正翻译技巧

正如没有经历过大事的人一样，他是经不起成功也经不起失败的。

Like people who have not experienced great things, he cannot afford to succeed or fail. (AI)

Like those of little experience, he was easily elated by success and deflated by failure.

点评：AI只是按字面翻译，没有理解这个句子的含义。

7. 断句法翻译

但他性情不同，既不求官爵，又不交朋友，终日闭门读书。

But he has a different temperament, neither seeking official title, nor making friends, and reading behind closed doors all day long. (AI)

He was, however, eccentric. He neither sought an official post nor made friends. All day he studied behind closed doors.

点评：AI只是按字面翻译。断句后，层次感更强，更好理解。

点评：AI按字面翻译，没能把“擦尾”翻译准确，并且主语部分过长，有点头重脚轻。

9. 预计长五边进近跑道03号，不要延误。

It is expected that the long five-sided approach runway No. 03 will not be delayed. (AI)

Expect long final approach R/W03, not delay.

点评：AI没能把“五边进近”翻译出来，并且是按字面翻译，没有把专业场景中的意思翻译出来。

合同领域的翻译举例

10. 本合同第六条在合同终止后有效。

点评：AI按字面翻译，既没有忠实于源语言的内涵，又不符合目标语言的表达习惯。
